Schoolwork and entrance exams. One workable plan.

A practical way to connect daily learning with a bigger exam goal.

01

Put the real commitments on one page

Begin with your school timetable, assessment periods and target entrance exam. Verify official dates before adding them to a calendar. Seeing the commitments together helps you identify busy periods before they become difficult.

02

Find the overlap

Some entrance preparation shares subject foundations with school learning. Use that overlap deliberately, while recognising that question styles, depth and time pressure may differ. Mastering a concept comes before trying to answer every question quickly.

03

Separate learning, practice and review

A useful study routine makes room for all three. Learning builds understanding, practice shows whether you can apply it, and review reveals why mistakes happened. An error log can help identify patterns without turning each mistake into a judgement of your ability.

04

Keep the schedule realistic

Use blocks you can sustain and leave room for school deadlines, activities and rest. Review the plan regularly. When something is repeatedly not getting done, adjust the plan rather than simply adding more hours.

05

Ask for targeted help

Bring a specific concept, a question you tried, or a pattern from your mock review to a tutor. That makes it easier to use the session well and to agree on what you should practise next.
